Su Sky stanno bombardanoci con i Pirati dei Caraibi, la trilogia con Johnny Depp....e mio figlio, 4 anni, inizia a girare per casa con scimitarre e magliette con su teschi e tibie incrociate....questa foto mi ricorda tutto ciò...quindi dovrei dare un giudizio estremamente negativo...

Splendid approach, Fabio. It gives the feeling that you are a pirat inside your ship, kind of "Pirates of the Caribbean" mood. This detail is darker, so it's definately from the bad guys. The good guys dressed in white are waiting in the background from a safe distance :)))

All the details in the rigging of the foreground ship have been captured perfectly with great clarity. I think the DOF is just about right. Normally I don't like large amounts of bokeh just there for artistic reasons, but here the background blur is not strong enough to prevent details to be discerned. Well done

Bel primo piano nitido fino alla pignoleria del bompresso del veliero fuori campo.
Nitidissima la rete che sostituisce il pulpito.
Il 2° vascello è un quadretto a parte, non molto grande ma ben armato, molte vele, per poter ridurre la velatura senza rallentare in caso di vento "strong" e dover ricorrere ai terzaroli, per i quali è necessario un buon (e numeroso equipaggio)

Your focus on the front of this ship to show the details by blur of the backdrop, although I would also like to see some sharpness on the white sailboat which is also interesting feature.

But your choice of this depth is working well.

hai fatto un gran bel lavoro nella messa a fuoco andando a creare tre piani distinti. La composizione, col dettaglio perfettamente a fuoco e il bg leggermente sfocato fa la sua bella figura, donando eleganza e leggerezza alla composizione stessa. Belli anche i colori, non carichi e molto naturali. Complimenti!

Questa è una composizione veramente bella e...marinara. L'asta del bombresso in diagonale con i fiocchi inferiti è talmente nitida che si distinguono chiaramente i grilli che fissano lo strallo al bompresso! E l'altro veliero a destra è splendido, dovrebbe essere un brigantino-goletta, ma la classificazione delle navi a vela è piuttosto complicata e varia da nazione a nazione. E' un'immagine da copertina di rivista nautica e fossi in te proverei a venderla a qualche testata.
