Pulpit Rock

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Pulpit Rock or the Norwegian name Preikestolen is a great place to visit on sunny days like this. We went there the last day in may this year. Temp was about 25 degC. Pulpit Rock, a massive cliff about 600m asl.
Its about 2 hours walk from the local parking which also includes cafetaria etc. In the back "Lysefjorden" stretches it self into Lysebotn. The well known Kjerag platou for base jumpers are also located further into the fjord from here.
Also check my picture "Session on the edge" from "Pulpit Rock"

Hello Joar! Amazing rock. Wonderful place. Good perspective. Very nice capture. Good luck!
Hi Joar
I have seen this rock on Trekearth before and it is just such an amazingly scary sight. I like your point of view and thanks for sharing, Marlene

A massive place, something new to learn about Norway. Very effective PoV and scaling. Thanks for sharing...Alex

Hi Joar!
Very impressive shot of this beautiful place. It was a good choice the vertical version.
Thanks, Csilla

Hello Joar,
Maybe a very nice place for tourist in the North sun, but the base jumpers come here in the river, not a ideal place!
Pulpit Rock this was my not known, but I am not traveller.
Splendid composition and lovely colours, very nice presentation.
Best regards,
John.
