This is simply another photo from the festivities in Tananger, Norway last weekend.
One of the things that is a standard at this festival is a competition called "Ta sjansen", literally it means "Take a chance" but a better translation would be "Give it a go...)
It is based on a tradition from a bigger festival in Oslo that included people sending their homemade rafts down a big slide, the goal being to reach a floating bell in the water some distance from the ramp.
Originally they also had a cycling competition which consisted of cycling on a narrow path floating on water.
This scene from Tananger is based on that cycling challenge, only they gradually changed it to have two people competing against each other by balancing over floating logs, then running 10 (tight) laps around a bottle before finally running back over the floating log.
I was doing a series of photos of these guys running (and falling) over the logs floating in the water.
This is a photo that was taken a mere millisecond before he landed with a majestic splash in the water.
I have only done some minor colour correction to this photo (increased saturation of blue by +10 and cyan by +15)
Well, enjoy anyway!
