Wonderful mountain scene. I really like your composition where you make use of the different element. Your positioning of the red house is perfect and it is an eye catcher. Also the clouds and the rock in the foreground are great. Excellent colours, lighting and sharpness. TFS and have a nice weekend!

Beautiful alspine lake landscape with the treeless snow capped mountains reflecting splendidly in the calm lake.
The traditional red cottage adds a nice splash of color to this fantastic scene.

Hello Paul, Lovely shot along this lake. The rock and the house reinforce the compostion you have captured. Lucky you that those great clouds were present to really make the picture. My visit to Norway several years ago was confined to tours by a cruise line. Never spent much time in the countryside. Thanks for posting. Roger

U vond een van de mooiste plaatsen in deze omgeving zeker de long version is subliem.
Mooie samensteling met zeer mooi perspectief en diepte.
Hte gekleurde huisje bringt extra leven in de foto.

This is a typical Norwegian landscape, which you manage to present well. You have chosen a good POV, and it's very nice colours. The red, lonely house make a great contrast to the rest.

this shot I must say finally convinced me that I should put Norway on my wish list of places to visit.
The house is fantastic: not due to any special architecture but it provides a nice scale marker and its red color contrasts so well with the surroundings.

A lovely mountain scene with the lake and the red house!
A pleasant composition, and the fine light renders vivid colours (but I fear there is an error in "date taken")...
I notice the nice reflection, and the image has a fine feeling of depth!

I guess I know this place, this is the Gaularfjellet, along the road 13, if I am not mistaken. I have also a shot of this house, but from the other side, look HERE!

But I think the date of your shot is not correct, it cannot have been in December! :)

A beautifull combination of colors for this panorama around the lake (I thought it could a fjord before reading you note, then I tought that the sides were to flat: they are much stepper in a fjord). I like very much the touch of red of the wooden house on the left.
