This is one of those shots which is like a postcard and you want to look at if for quite a while to absorb all it has to tell you!

Lovely crisp details throughout!
The houses grab the interest initially. Then the meandering river guides the eye leisurely through the arable land towards the forest.

The fluffy clouds add that extra interest of light and shade!

Your aim of showing us your childhood surround is great, to me I think it is especially great because it shows a side of Norway that I would not have imagined. This is a far cry from fjiords and snow and it is very interesting.

Hi, Pablo. The river makes very nice curves in your image and is a good lead into the photograph. The colours in the fields are very nice. The vegetation and the houses in the foreground give a good depth to the picture. The sky is dramatic with all these nice clouds. I suppose the air must be good in the valley to breed so many champions ;o).

Stunning composition, very good sharpness and fine colours. I like very much the diagonal line of the "S" type curved river, which leads the eye all through the image. Taking the two houses on the left corner was, in my opinion, a very good decision. Great picture. Congratulations!

I like much the river entering itself in the photography, taking to us until the horizon. The tones of the sky contrast perfectly with the red color than it seems to be a barn in first plane.

Hi Pablo,
I can see why you keep coming back to the valley of your childhood. This is a real stunner with a clear hilltop view of the beautiful river seen snakeing through the lovely valley floor. The blue water contrast wonderfully with the sandy banks and golden fields. Wolderful sky and the houses in the foreround add nice scale to this image. This one has it all, congratulations.

Olá Pablo, nice note that gave the title to this picture. A wonderful view from above with the red and white house as starters to the journey along the winding river. I noticed the little white spots in the fields that might be the white bales you have shown us before. A rich landscape with many details to discover.

Hi Pablo,
The place is so beautiful that I could easily understand that you loved it even if it wasn't for your childhood memories. Like all the other posts of the theme, it's a very attractive view, very well composed and featuring a great clarity, sharpness and colours (not quite so in the distant BG, but I can't see what you could do about that haze). The winding river is a very pleasant lead-in and gives much depth, the divisions on the fields makes a very interesting pattern with their colours and textures, and the red house on the FG is a nice colour punch.

beautiful spot you found here to show us the town where you spent the first years of your life.
The view is certainly beautiful and presents no signs of modernity like big electric posts or similars and I like this a lot.
The "s" shape made by the river is very nice, as nice are the typical Norwegian houses and the patchworks on the fields.
The earthy tones in combination with the sky ones crete a very good contrast.
