I was digging in my archive to day and found this norwegian Image from The old mining town of Røros, there's a lot of stuff about it on Wikipedia as it is a world heritage today, but Im sur that Pablominto has some thing to say about it...
i case anyone wonder I used levels as adjustment layers and washed in between them

Beautiful picture Anders, with a great capture of the mood around that abandoned mining town.
excellent quality timing and POV.
thanks, ciao

Hi Anders,

Digging in your archives was worth the time spent. This old copper mine is well placed in it's original environment.

He Anders,
Stormy sky suits well on the bare landscape and old wooden darkly tinted builings. I find such places interesting. That stream is a well chosen viewpoint.
Kari

Great atmosphere due to teh washed out tones. Alfred

Hej Anders,
A very fine and interesting picture of this industrial herutage. The colours create a certain minor mood (musically speaking). But the photo is as sharp as ever!

Hi Anders.
Very good PP work to get this result. The low contrast range of browns under that dark sky is particularly impressive and so appropriate for the subject matter. It's a great image of the history of industry, which really gets the message across because of the special lighting effect you have achieved.
Regards,
Andrew

hello Anders,

This is a fine point of view from one of the bridges across Hyttelva, with the town on the left side and Smelthytta on the right!
The clouds really adds to the drama here, creating a ghost town atmosphere...
Don't forget to add to my Røros theme if you have more!

Greetings,
Pablo -

I got curious when I saw the date as I knew I too was in Røros at about that time! Checking further I was there one week ahead of you...

hej Anders,
A great picture. How could you keep this hidden for so long? Very fine play of brown and grey nuances under the threatening sky with just a little bit of green and red breaking the pattern. Very interesting old wooden houses,

hej Anders,

I wonder what the trolls had to say when people started mining in Norway :)
jokes aside, I have to agree with Gert - why didn't you post this earlier? the postproduction is great, it really brings out the fantastic textures, and the various tones of brown fit well the story about the copper mines. the stream in the middle is a good lead-in line, this is a great shot, I like it a lot.

regards,
Kristine

Hej Anders,

Hej Anders,
A copper mine in a copper tone. What attracts me most is the amount of wooden elements included in the photo. The some what dark photo makes one to find new details for each time you look. (en riktigt tråkig TE kommentar, men jag gillar bilden)
Trevlig helg!
/Stefan

Hi Anders,
Wonderful colors, superb punsihing looking sky and wonderful sharp details.
