A very wintry feeling to this fine composition. A well chosen point of view that takes good advantage of the curve in the valley at this point. The curtain of leafless trees adds to the mood but still allows us to appreciate the beauty of the landscape. Excellent light, colours and clarity.

Hi Pablo,

The curve of the river leads our eyes toward the mountain in the background. The trees are a natural frame to the river. The reflection of the light on the snow brings out the colors. The point of view is giving depth to the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Pablo, It is now winter in Australia & we had our first snow falls in the mountains only several days ago, this scene looks more like Skippy's home than the summer in the the Northern hemisphere. All that aside a very nice & well composed winter scene with lovely natural looking colour.

There are the cold colours of winter here, so delicate and charming, yet the light in front give a sense of warm hope.
I like the way the river is illuminated by this weak light, and I like how the snow on the foreground leads the eye ahead toward the naked trees and the river beyond.

Very refreshing, although our own peak of heat was three days ago in Paris. I am asking myslef if it is a river or just a road, which is visible as a curve just behig the curtain of trees.

Olá Pablo, lately I've been thinking that all the climate changes are natural and man has very little to do with it...Marvellous textured FG and nice graphic effect of the naked trees filtering the view to the background. I feel like lying down on the snow, spying any activity that can happen in the valley. Original POV.

This is a carefully metered shot, the light condition is superb and you have captured it well. I like those branches at the middle ending it with the curves. I'm not sure if you're okay with 30C, I only hope you enjoy your summer.

This is a really fine back-light winter shot. I am a bit surprised that it is taken i mid-February . It looks more like April and it is quite obvious that the ice on the river might disappear very soon. Nevertheless, the composition and the use of the lighting condition are excellent. I really like the lines and curves and the razor blade blade sharp silhouettes of the naked trees. A really good photo-job. TFS and have nice evening!

A reminder of winter. Taken into the sun there are some attractive contrasts in the snow. The backlight has also caused some sparkles which is a good feature of the scene. Well done

A welcome winter scene, on those hot summer days it is a pleasure to see snow, ice and pale blue winter sky. Excellent compo in blue and white, special light. I feel some winter nostalgia. It only happens to me in summer days :) In Romania, 30C is no big deal and 37C is rather usual. I can't say I like this...

They predicted 32 degrees C today in Montreal, so this view is much welcomed !
This multi-plane picture shows the complete palette of grey tones and of course a studied composition with the inclusion of nuded trees that allow a peep through on a sweet spot.

The curving lines of the shoreline make this shot work extremely well and one that I hope to remember when I am out looking for a shot and thinking that there really is nothing there...look for curves! Nice use of the foreground snow to set the mood for a chilly scene.
