Bergen is the second largest city in Norway, with a population of 253,600 as of July 2009. Bergen is the administrative centre of Hordaland county. Greater Bergen or Bergen Economic Region, as defined by Statistics Norway, had a population of 385,450 as of January 2009.

Bergen is located in the county of Hordaland on the south-western coast of Norway. It is an important cultural hub in its region and was one of nine European cities honoured with the title of European Capital of Culture in 2000.

Bergen municipality occupies the majority of the Bergen peninsula in mid-western Hordaland. It is sheltered from the North Sea by the islands Askøy, Holsnøy and Sotra.

The background is a bit defocused. More DOF would have been better

J'aime beaucoup le gros plan des pignons de ces maisons. Les couleurs chaudes sont intéressantes ainsi que la variété de couleurs des toits.

the focus at the lamp-post made a good DOF. Colors and composition is very good too.

Hi Sezai.
After a look into your gallery, I found many great shots. This is from my hometown Bergen, so I think this is funny to see. Bryggen is of course one of the greatest motives in Bergen, and you captured it in a good way. It's a very good composition. The roofs in front makes a good framing and it's a good choice of including the lamp. I just have to say that I agree with Bebetto. The background has a lack of colour, and should have been sharper. The yellow and red building should have the focus. The note is good. Looks like you have found much information of Bergen.
