Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken at Solviken one late summer evening

Solviken is situated at Engelsviken just outside Fredrikstad in Eastern Norway.

Solviken is one of several beach areas that lie not far from Fredrikstad city centre and are fairly easily accessible by the car. There is a long stretch of sandy beach here.

Hello Janak!

Beautiful sunset photo from a beautiful place! Great composition and framing, excellent "shadow" play, great light management! The only "problem" is the "tilted" horizon, something you could easily fix in Photoshop! Besides that, a great photo, congratulations!

The image is at the same time nostalgic and poetic. The silhouettes pleasant, are surrounded by a soft light and pleasant colors. It is a good capture of sunset. Good realization. Cheer.

Hi Janak,
a lovely sunset evening with the sun to be ready to be hidden back of the mountain.I like the dark parts of the foreground as the subdued light, with the sun still painting pastoral colours in the clouds makes this a memorable shot.

A good sunset shots with good play between the reflected water and the silhouettes. The sun is also well shown partly hidden behind the clouds. The horizon maybe slightly tilted to the right, but otherwise a nice picture
