Photographer's Note

There is nothing dramatic in this landscape, nothing like the mountains in the western part of Norway. On the contrary, here we have slowly rolling hills with lakes and ponds scattered all over, connected by small rivers and creeks…

The little creek we see here is typical for the area, and it is populated by river trout. River trout differs from lake trout in the colour of meat; lake trout looks like salmon while the river trout is white. Lake trout is regarded as more exclusive, but the fact is they taste very much the same!

Some days ago I took advantage of the most wonderful weather to bring my camera on a trip to a nearby mountain area with lots of photo opportunities, and I will bring a few of the images in the days to come.
