Hi, Pablo. The village houses form a nice colourful ensemble which stands out remarkably well in this green setting. I suppose they all havae a wooden structure. The spire is very well brought out by the sky. A very nice country image.
PS: I can see a dust spot one centimetre above the forest and about one and a half centimetre from the frame.

Hello Pablo,

In your images of Gauldalen, and the countryside of Norway in general, there are frequently brilliant colors, but the most striking are the reds used on barns (and some houses). Of course, I saw that in Bergen on the wharf as well). The memories that the Norwegian settler's took to the New World often reflect their roots in Scandinavia, both in New England and in the Minnesota area. The red here makes a fabulous highlight for the entire canvas.

the warm light that illuminates all the scene is excellent and close. The colors have a special brightness and their tonalities create a magnificent contrast.

Lovelly view. The basic colors all present there. Perfect smoth blue sky, contrasting with the vivid green loan. The red house near the church adds a nice color contrast touch and completes the compo. Nice POV as well.

Hi Pablo,
It must be great to be standing here and seeing this place still standing strong. I remembered a shot of a longhouse which I took a few years back and recently I passed by the same place only to see it burnt to the ground. I had this feeling of sadness passing through me. I can guess this must be your favourite stand point. I enjoyed the crisp details and the soft clouds add the much needed dynamism to the otherwise very quiet atmosphere. Simply nostalgic!!

The concept of church-farm is very interesting, since it clearly makes a link between the Heven and the Earth. It reminds me that the monks of the Middle Age big abbeys were also great land workers...

Both the yellow and the withe House is very typical Norwegian for me, the kind of architecture we seldom se at the Other side of the border, I even found churches different here then on the Swedish side, further south in sweden you can fin similar types.
the reson is probably that Norway was more developed an richer on the same latitude.

Very nice sharp detail seen in this shot of this church farm Pablo. It's well composed with a good division in the scene. Colour and colour contrasts seen between the grass and sky are good. The red barn stands out nicely between the two.

Olá Pablo, I missed these wonderful countryside images from you. This one is gorgeous with the 'traditional' big blue sky, the green grass and the attractive architecture set. Beautiful combination of colors culminating in the church tower. Superb image quality and excellent informative note.

I really like the contrast the great blue sky and the pov
last year I have been in norway but only for one day maybe you know the name of the city
I can´t remember it but there is the whale museum located and it´s near to sweden where I have been for 7 days.
I really liked it I hope I will get there soon
