Finnmark V: Lever du soleil sur Magerøya II

Je ne résiste pas à poster cette seconde version du lever du Soleil sur Magerøya, car je pense qu'elle le mérite.
Cette fois, la composition se base sur le courant laissé par l'Express Côtier lors de son acostage dans le port d'Honningsvåg. Ce courant permet la réflexion du ciel rosé et l'arc de cercle créé s'oppose à celui créé par la montagne Steinviknæringen.

An absolute delight with such a striking and different colour scheme which makes the sky stand out so starkly and an absolutely lovely hue. The composition and the serenity here is astounding

Beautiful colours over the menacing mountain. It looks so peaceful...but I bet it was freezing. I wouldn't have minded seeing a boat in the foreground for some added interest, as I think there is too much water, but I like the mood here with no signs of human presence.

Yes, this photo deserves to be shown here! I've been there in summer - but this atmosphere, this light is quite different. A wonderful picture in astonishing colours and a somehow solemn atmosphere .... great!
