Hi Betty, Very interesting because I've studied this types of houses in RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyers) in England and i thought it does not exist anymore.
This is beautiful shot, the clouds at the background made it wonderful and the white flowers at the foreground that matched the walls colors balanced and gave it perfect contrast.
Did you try to enhance it with HDR? the problem i don't know how to post workshop here, otherwise I'll show you.

Hi Betty,
you always come with such nice images. At this time this graceful architecture shot. Very fine exposure and light management. The sky is a good background and the inclusion of the flowers create a nice environment. The note is informative and interesting. Great job!

Betty,
Your had much better weather to work with at Troldhaugen than I did. Your composition and POV are great! The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. This is my favorite destination that I have visited so far. I always enjoy seeing photos from Western Norway.
TFS,
Asa
Hi Betty,
Nice to meet you. A very nice capture of this quaint looking Victorian house. Must admit I've only thought of Victorian style as something found in England but you have taught me something new here. A very nice perspective and nicely composed with the flower bed.I also see from your "Egypt" images you have been down my way.
Regards, David

Hello Betty,
It was in 1994 that I saw Grieg's Troldhaugen in the outskirts of Bergen I am happy to see this fabulous photograph of it, complemented by a highly informative note. I remember also the cliff crypt that the composer and his wife were buried in, overlooking the fjord. It was on a cruise on the Silver Wind that I visited Bergen. And one night with the sun trying and failing to set, and the curtains in the concert hall all open, the classical pianist on board played a selection of pieces from Grieg. It was a perfect setting to hear the great composer's music.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Good capture here Betty of Trollhaugen, Nina and Edwards home in Bergen. You had a good light and a good chance to have fine details of the building and garden. Well disposed compo.
Hi Betty, What A quaint little house beautiful in design, the pastel colours & soft light work very well together, wonderful surrounding, the house must have had a paint job since you took this photo, as looking at Asa Jernigan shot of the same house the colours are very different, great weather, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Betty,
I can immediatly recognise the house of the author of Peer Gunt, a fantastic composition.
Nice sunny day, which can be unusual over there!!!
Good choice to include the flowers at the foreground

Hi Betty,
Wonderful little victorian cottage that is seen in all its fine intricate details.
Love the blue sky background and lovely foreground garden. Nice inclusion of the narrow lane moving into the distance.
