Nice shot of this nice wintry scene. The dark blue water creates nice contrast to the white mountains. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. Your composition is fine using the boat to create direction and motion.

Bonsoir Samuel,

Le MS Nordstjernen va vers le nord et non le sud me semble-t-il [en fait, j'en suis sûr]. J'ai pratiquement la même compo avec le MS Lofoten en route vers le nord le 18 février 2004.

La lumière avec le soleil qui vient de d'apparaître au dessus de la crête des montagnes est vraiment très belle et bien captée.

Hello Samuel.
This is a very well composed photo, with the largest mountain balancing out the boat very well. Lovely blue tones and a tiny dash of red make this a delightful image. And that old boat has real character as it ploughs through the freezing water. A wonderful shot.
