Photographer's Note

Bystrzyca Klodzka is a small town (population of 10,000) in south-western Poland, near the Polish-Czech border.
This region has a turbulent history and has been ruled by Poles, Czechs and Germans for centuries.
The town was founded in the 13th century by the Czech knight Havel of Lemberk. Since the 14th century the town has its own town hall, and this one visible in my photo was built between 1852-1854, the style refers to the Florentine Renaissance.
The Town Hall is home to the city council, the library and the registry office.
