Photographer's Note

The Kamienczyk Waterfall, 27 metres high, is the highest waterfall in the Polish part of the Karkonosze mountains. It falls down in three beautiful cascades. The middle one, shown in the photo, hides its biggest secret - a man-made "Golden Cave". The cave was enlarged by precious stone-seekers and its first mention in the chronicles goes as far back as the Middle Ages.
