Photographer's Note

The Wroclaw Opera building was erected in the years 1839–1841 as a city theater with 1,600 seats. To this day, most of the decorations from the nineteenth century have been preserved in a very richly decorated interior.
After the Second World War, not only operas but also theater plays, operettas and puppet shows were staged in the building.
In the years 1997–2006 a general renovation was carried out, and great opera performances were staged at Wroclaw's Centennial Hall.
