Photographer's Note

I was walking along the street in the small village of Siekierki near Poznań, when the sun decided to reach around from behind the clouds and caress the fields with its fingers of light.
Snapped this photo thinking that there was no way the rays of the sun would be captured so well. I was wrong once I looked over the pictures.
There was some post work done to this photo. Specifically, the white balance was shifted so that the fields would form a silhouette, as they were dark and uninteresting to begin with. This had the added effect of darkening the underbellies of the clouds, adding for a bigger contrast with the bright sun rays. Did some spot despeckling to remove some noise, and this is the result.
