Photographer's Note

Taken in the Trzebnickie Hills, a mountain range in southwestern Poland. The landscape is made up of fields, woods and orchards; in the Middle Ages it was also the site of several vineyards.

Hi Ryszard,
such a simple composition in its best view and excitement. The lone tree is so graphical surrounded by the intense plains. Very excellent presentation.

I like the composition and golden brown hues very much. The tree is well placed and I like the layering effect of the subtle shapes of the land.

Hello Ryszard,

This is one of my favorite themes. Simple looking but visually very effective and striking composition. I very much liked the gradual tonal changes on the surface of the fields due to the angle of light and differing slopes of the earth. The lone tree stands proudly like the watcher of this vast open fields. A great work. TFS and best wishes,

Hello Ryszard,

The solitary tree at left adds a focal point & an element of graphism. The horizon of rocky mountain side was an unexpected surprise, and makes a change from the usual sky. Good use of a shallow dof. Tfs!
