Success depends on many things. I believe you have a successful picture because of the casual, curious manner of the people in the frame. The people seem amused at the crime figure on the ground. Totally unaware of your camera and immersed in their own little world. You have a nice picture with a very god theme. Thanks Teresa.

Very nice shot you've done here, B&W is the right solution I think, which bring us back to the dream of years 60's...

Czesc Tereso,

Scenka jest swietna, bardzo mi sie podoba. Tylko panuje w niej jakis taki lekki chaos, moze przez to, ze tlo jest bardzo podostrzone i wyglada troszke surrealistycznie. Gdy patrze, moj wzrok troszke sie gubi - nie wiem, czy mam podazac za pieknym lukiem kamienic konczacym sie w rogu, czy tez badac to, co dzieje sie na chodniku i na twarzach ludzi.

Anyway, podoba mi sie :)

Widzê, ¿e to ca³a gdañska seria! To zdjêcie chyba z tych trzech jest najlepsze. Najbardziej przemy¶lane i najmniej przypadkowe. Kombinuj dalej.

Bardzo mi sie podoba.
Jest tutaja "cos konkretnego" : dwoch facetow ogladajacych rysunek na ulicy.
Byc moze pokusilabym sie o wyciecie tylko tej sceny, ale wtedy stracilibysmy troche Gdanska ;).
Widzisz, juz nie tylko chodza, ale i patrza ;).

Bonjour térésa,
Belle réalsation en N&B ! Je suis juste un peu géné par le manque de netteté des personnages du premier plan. Le 800ème de seconde était-il utile dans cette circonstance ? Un diaphragme de 11 ou 16 aurait donné plus de profondeur de champ. Ce n'est que mon humble avis.

Nikt nie powiedzia³ ¿e bêdzie ³atwo. Wkroczy³a¶ na trudny grunt ale radzisz sobie dzielnie. Ja nawet nie próbujê street photo, na razie. To zdjêcie równie¿ mi siê podoba, ciekawa, dynamiczna scenka, interesuj±ca obróbka, no i w koñcu nogi w ca³o¶ci ;)

czesc Teresa, reklama dziala jak widac- przynajmniej na niekrtortych przechodniow:-)gdyby byl to faktycznie slad po zbrodni wygladaloby to groteskowo, z przymruzeniem oka wyglada zabawnie- ciekawe ujecie, i bardzo fajna tonacja.

No i powsta³a ciekawa seria zmuszaj±ca do choæby krótkiego zastanowienia siê nad sob±, do przyjrzenia siê drodze, po której kroczymy ka¿dego dnia, do popatrzenia w twarze mijaj±cych nas ludzi. Tyle ciekawego dzieje siê w ka¿dej sekundzie i wszêdzie. Rezygnacja z koloru ca³kiem s³uszna jest mocnym akcentem w tych kadrach.

Swietne zdjecie Tereso! Zupelnie inny klimat Gdanska niz przyzwyczailem sie ogladac, a przez to jeszcze bardziej mi sie podoba! Wiem ze nie jest to glowny temat tej fotografii, ale najbardziej podobaja mi sie domy w pierzei ulicy Dlugiej. Ta czesc zdjecia wyglada jakbys zywcem przekleila ja z fotografii z lat 40-tych ;-) Rewelacja!

this one is really nice...i would perhaps go for tighter composition (and less contrast or whatever you did in postprocessing, and which resulted in pixelation of the sky...)
what i obviously like is the trio of people (two men + a woman in distance) giving a glimpse to the painting on the payvment...

Cała seria "street shooting" - palce lizać. Przemyślana i jednolita stylowo. To jest coś, z czym ja mam problemy. Tu mamy prawdziwy suspens. B&W podkreśla świetny klimat serii.

PS. Widzę, że zbliżasz się do setki. Nie zastanawiaj się nad tym co dać, tylko weź to z rozbiegu. Ja się zawahałem i miałem przez to dwa tygodnie przerwy. :))

Hi Teresa,
Street shooting is not easy, you have to be quick, with the finger always on the button, and pocket full of charged batteries.

Street photography is a split second decison. If your subject comes to know, then the subject becomes conscious and whole of the aura is gone. In that sense I rewally admire your street shooting.

Caught unaware, when we see the effects on the LCD, we simply jump with joy.

I think the cropping here is very good and classic B&W adds the right mood. The lighting on the buildings in the background is perfect.
