Photographer’s Note

Idanha-a-Velha es una verdadero museo al aire libre, muy próxima a su vecina joven. Se trata de una antigua villa romana, que actualmente no tiene más de 90 habitantes.
Está situada en la proximidades de la vía que unía Mérida y Astorga.
Tiene restos arqueológicos templarios del siglo XIII, los cimientos de un templo romano, una catedral de orígen paleocristiano, pero rehecha cinco veces.
También es posible observar nidos de cigüeña y si dispone de tiempo tomar una cerveza y conversar con los pocos habitantes que allí viven y que sin duda se sienten orgullosos de pasar los días en un museo viviente.

Ellos afirman que bajo las rocas que uno camina se construyó la romana Egitanea, que su momento de gloria tuvo millares de habitantes y fue objeto de innumerables saqueos e invasiones. Tiene un reloj de sol del año 16 AC.

Very well thought through composition. The arch is off center and I really like how it works as a natural frame to the building in the background. The colors are strong but at the same time not oversaturated. Sharpness is spot on as well.

Hola Charo,

Your creative skill already build a splendid scene from historical arch and walls while adding next building under the arch perfectly. The textures of wall with joint lines of stones are increase depth and perspective. Clear sky and part of tree are must be bonus. Excellent clarity and sharpness, congratulations.

This is a well framed scene showing the house through the arch. The angle of the shot is fine using the arch and wall to lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Sur le ciel bleu, l'arche est du meilleur effet. La perspective du mur qui s'en éloigne, méne agréablement vers l'intérieur. Le netteté et les couleurs sont parfaites et agréables. Un bon travail.

Una toma bien nítida con el arco de piedra y la vista de la casa a través, buen POV así como muy buena definicion y colores. La posición del arco fuera del centro hace un buen balance en tu magnifica foto.
