Hello Aires,
Only flat cadent sunbeams can suggest that is December. Lighting conditions were not best, but superbly to yourself you advised with this problem. Correcting ISO to the value 100 you avoided excessive contrasts, and simultaneously you brought near the colouring to natural. The well close diaphragm guaranteeed very good depth of sharpness. Please very much to me the crown of trees lighted up with the side- light. Very nice work and composition.

Que vista espectacular, Aires. Fabulosa diagonal a curvar suavemente. Não sei se gosto mais do grafismo dos barcos, se das árvores douradas pela luz, mas a combinação das duas situações é excelente. Muito boa.

impressive the perspective and the POV of this side of the port wine with the ships in rows to transport the wine to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.I like the late afternoon light that falls on the peaks of the trees and make the scene so elegance.Well done.

A great view of the quay of the river from an excellent high POV. I like very much the many blue tones of the water and the city. The warmer tones of the trees contrast nicely with them. The repetition of the boats is great to see too from this POV. Thanks for sharing!

Desculpa a minha ignorância sobre a geografia do Porto, mas de onde é que tiraste esta? Da ponte D.Luís?
Está estupenda, com a "diagonal curva" da margem de Gaia, os restos de sol a fazerem brilhar as árvores e aquele grande espelho de água com os barquinhos em cima. Imagina que tecnicamente a temperatura de cor esteja mal ajustada, pois está muito azulada, mas até acho piada, pelo efeito que causa: estamos à espera de tons quentes é pôr-do-sol, mas afinal apanhamos com azuis; deve ser por ser do frio de Dezembro. :D

Nice water texture and color here and also superb light caught by the lie of trees, highlighting the diagonal of the quay. Cropping it on the right side to get a square format was another option...

Aires, great shot, great note. I love learning something like this especially when I al all the way through it before I realize it was a lesson.

The shot is really super with the boats lined up as the are and the detail crispness and color are great. I especially like the long shadows of the illuminated trees.

Aqui, é a luz a passar pelas árvores que impressiona mesmo. Nunca me tinha apercebido de que o sol se põe desse lado. Estava convencido de que seria mais na direcção da Ponte da Arrábida.
A linha de barcos está também muito bonita. E o anúncio da Sandeman faz-me lembrar que foi lá que fiz a minha última visita a uma cave do Vinho do Porto.

Bela foto! Gosto das proporções que atribuiste à margem e ao Douro, da curva que a margem faz, e ainda mais da luz suave, de final de tarde, que faz as árvores brilhar suavemente.
Gosto ainda do contraste entre os rabelos e os barcos de turismo numa linha que dá bastante profundidade a foto em conjunto com a margem.
