Photographer's Note

I'm posting a photo of the South once more, this time from one of my favourite places situated in a small town called Alvito.
This place is called Chapel of St. Luzia, it dates probably from the 15th/16th centuries and it has been inspired by the old country mosques but it's also possible that it has been built using one. It's situated around 1 or 2 kms far from Alvito, on a hill overlooking the town. It has no signs but the little road leading there is in good conditions.
But the place is great. The chapel is really in the countryside surrounded by olive trees, and the noises we can hear come from the wind, from the birds crossing the sky and also from the bushes around - the rabbits that start crossing the fields as soon as they notice our presence.

Happy New Year to you all!
