[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This is the Chapel of S. Pedro that I've posted last year, also one of my favourites. The pov is not very different this time but it was taken on a different time of the day.
This church is situated a few kilometres far from Castro Verde and it was built in the 16th century in a popular mannerist style. Situated on the top of a hill, it can be seen from a distance. This place is also very special because it is said that it was here that the Battle of Ourique took place, in 1139. In this battle,a very important one, Afonso Henriques defeated the moors and started calling himself King of Portugal (he became then our first king). Behind this chapel there's a monument commemorating the event. I've posted some photos of it with my first photo

Hi Ana

A simple, but highly effective composition, with good sharpness, & a superb blue sky. A well managed exposure level, on the highlights of the whitewashed wall. Parabens!

Hi Ana,
A clear and noiseless picture with superb sharpness, well controlled exposure (the withes in the sun are often difficult) and goo off centered composition.
Good addtion toyour theme!
Greetings from Paris

A very beautiful chapel, and the colors are excellent. TFS and have a great day!

The low point is great. So yout a good contrast with the deep blue sky. Well done.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi Ana,
A very balance composition with good positioning of the tree and church. The foreground grass created a nice contrast and texture against the chapel. Wonderfully captured and composed. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Olá Anabela,
Bonita simplicidade; São Pedro e a azinheira.

Ana, interesting capture, the church looks like a praying person, the bell arch the head and the other roof pieces the raised arms. Color is good and hot but not over exposed and the tree makes it seem alive. Very nicely done.

Greg

This is another signature Ana shot, with its bold simplicity and its strong interplay of blue and white. The composition is meticulous and perfectly balanced.Regards kevin

Hi, my friend!
Today very interesting composition. I like your idea. Good colours and light. I like your very oryginal architecture and nature. Well done.
Marek

Hello Ana. Like a painting. All the subjects balances well with the tree a real stunner and the architecture brilliantly against the spotless blue sky. Well done and best regards. Jusni

MCV

Hello ana,

The simplicity of the composition fits the simplicity of the architecture!
The church and the tree, and both stand out well on the wonderful blue sky...
