Moura is located in Beja in the center more or less of the Portugal. A very hot place in summer as the breeze from the ocean doesn't get that far.
Moura was a stop by on our trip from Lisboa to Albufeira in the south of portugal. We stayed in that very nice mansion for the night (same place as the "schuuut quiet" pic I posted earlier). I remember the splendid white walls and the fine decoration made of typical materials and furniture (at least that's the impression i had).
The pic was taken from the first floor terrace where stairs give in a large paved yard that I assume in ancient times was the place where horsemen arrived after their journey outside the family house.

We had visited the city of Evora during the day by 40+++ degrees celsius and discovered a chapel where walls are made of human skulls and bones...(see WS)...quite scary...
it was a special day in our trip, maybe due to the strange chapel, maybe to the mood of that peaceful mansion...
I like looking at those pics...they bring me fresh air somehow...

Hi Stan,

I'm not always fan of a strong tilt, but here it works well with the veil or curtain, or how you want to call it. It is creating a strong diagonal. A very nice black and white conversion as well. Nice!

Greetings,
Dennis

Hi Prisley,

interesting picture, I like the angle and I think the B&W effect works good, good composition!

Regards

Sergio

I like the B&W conversion, which I think is very good but, do not understand the strong tilt. Are you sure the chapel was in Moura and not in Évora? Well done.
Antonio

Bonjour,
belle photo NB sous un très bon POV, spécial et qui donne un bel effet.

Hi Pris,
This one works well, not only because of the tilt that
adds that black area in th eupper left corner (to balance
th ehighlights in the lower right corner, but also because
of the curtain that creates a diagonal through the frame.
Very good!
Robi

Very well done! The black and white version is compositionally very appropriate. The image becomes one of spaces and shapes and linear lines that converge into the cloud patterns of the sky. No wonder the image brings you a sense of fresh air--it is a very free and open view.
Regards,
Kathy

Philippe
