Flowery Streets - III Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is just a detail of the Flowery Streets, an event that takes place in Redondo, every two years. For around a week the old white streets of Redondo get really colourful and crowded with visitors. The streets are decorated with colourful paper flowers, made by the inhabitants, each one of them according to a specific theme.

Belas cores, bem fortes e saturadas! Faz lembrar um pouco o estilo de decoração das festas juninas, com a diferença que na foto só se usa uma cor. Achei curioso o nome da cidade: Redondo.

Olá Anabela, quase fico encadeado com esta imagem. Nunca mais me convenço a usar óculos escuros e nem sei como é que ainda não preciso de ter uns graduados.
Estou vivo, mas ainda sem internet ilimitada. A ver se em Setembro volto a a ser um viciado...

Bonjour Ana,
tu as fait une très belle composition à partir d'un sujet tout simple mais très coloré et je suppose que c'est ce beau mariage de couleurs, bleu et jaune qui a attiré ton regard.
Une photo fraiche est festive avec cette lanterne dansante bien placée.

Lovely shot, Ana, of the creative paper designs. If you were to increase the contrast somewhat — deeper blues — you would have an effective Swedish flag.

Beautiful sunny and warm composition with all these yellow leaves and the dark lines of the lantern. The blue sky in between gives a good contrast.

Quem costuma ver suas fotos de igrejas brancas em fundos azuis calmantes, até se espanta nesse mar amarelo. Bela composição, gosto da idéia do lampião contrastando muito bem com o amarelo.

Hi Ana,
very nice picture! The yellow "tail" flying in the wind provides it with attractive dynamics. I only wonder how the photo would look like with wider aperture...
