Photographer’s Note

This year we visit the province of Alentejo at POrtugal. Typical from this province are the with views like this one that we shot from the castle of Montemor-o-novo. I must say that we stay for a long time to contemplate the views.

Hello Kiks, nice panoramic view from my favourite region in Portugal. I passed by the this castle for many times but never climbed up the hill. In summer it's quite hot in the iner parts of the country but I advise you to visit this region once again in late winter and early spring when the plains are covered with wild flowers.

Hello Kik,
Beautiful overall and unobstructed view of the beautiful scenery from a high POV. Beautiful blue sky and lovely clouds. The Only thing I think may have make a more interesting composition is to pan over the right you can avoid the dakr stone wall which doesn't help you composition and you also avoid having the castle in the middle of the image. Just a thought. Beautiful image regardless. Thanks

Fantastique vue, avec ce beu ciel merveilleux, la colline avec la terre rouge, le arbres, de oliviers je pense et le bâtiment blanc ressortent à merveille, splendide.

Hello Kik,

The POV very well selected give an incredible and very great depht to the image. details and colors well collected. I like especially the white of the houses and the red of the roofs which arise very well in the image.

Hello Kik,
this is a splendid panoramic view because of an incredible DOF and a splendid light.
The colours are really pleasant and very natural, the quality is absolutely perfect.
