Very interesting. I'd certainly not heard of this area before, and I've checked out your other photos too. Thanks for the introduction!

I wonder, is there a pattern here, or are the placings apparently random? That, of course, is the one disadvantage of the "ground level" view.

Hi Ana,
It can be so hard to photograph scenes like this, the eye always seems to do it better. In this case you've achieved a perfect image, the composition is visually interesting and the low POV puts us in amoungst the stones. The low light gives a rich texture to the scene.
Facinating note to accompany your shot.

I like very much this site, and you present it extremely well too: the light is optimal with a threatening sky adding contrast, olors and look natural. A good note too... that is good TE material!

Bonjour Ana,
By opening this photo I discover a place which I did not know. Portugal, it is not nevertheless if far from to me. But we may see photos of different countries, we may visit it itself, there are so things to be discovered. How would say certain singer " even by running, we shall have no time to make everything "!
