Goncalo, great angles on this one, I love effect of the coming together of the buildings at the top, makes it all seem much taller than it is. Color and detail are warm and rich, well seen and captured.

I like the way you have succeeded to avoid overexposed focus on that picture . The view is amazing with lots of nice details and an inviting place to visit that i have always linked to a Loreena Mc Kennit song (don't know why )...The soaring POV from the cobblestoned soil is also really nice !

Hi Goncalo,
A great capture from this street. You chose an excellent low POV, so the many small stones of the street lead the eye very nicely into the composition. The facades of the houses look nice too with great details. The sunlight is lovely too. Well captured!

curiosa essa rua vazia assim mesmo, nem roupas nas janelas têm. Gostei da escolha pela vertical e da captura das cores. Só faltou uma senhora com um balaio de lingüiça pra foto ficar perfeita, hehe :D

Gostei bastante da foto, por seu ponto de vista bem baixo, proporcionando a nitidez das pedras da rua, bem como tornando imponente as construções típicas da localidade!
O céu bem azul e o perfeito controle de luz, deixando tanto o lado em que o sol bate, quanto o lado da sombra muito bem visualizáveis, deixaram a fotografia uma beleza!

Olá Gonçalo,
buena perspectiva en esta toma, la calle estrecha tiene una gran profundidad de imagen.
Buena idea este punto de vista tan bajo que nos ofrece con detalle la textura del pavimento, y aumenta la sensación de profundidad. La arquitectura tradicional de esta ciudad es realmente magnífica, me gusta la pintura de colores en sus fachadas tan blancas.

in a silent,in a sunny day and in a quite lane with a shadow in side and a blue sky above...I must go there !
a fine composition you managed in the perspective,the scape of the lines towards center is a good element and the fresh colors and real contrast are afine points for the shot that captured in a great POV,nicely done !

I think for this time the distortion gives an interesting attraction to this picture, the reason is the depht of the foreground from a low position.

Esta série de Évora está fantástica. Belos enquadramentos, luz, cores e nitidez fabulosas. A perspectiva dá uma sensação 3D incrível. A única coisa que me parece menos bem é a ligeira inclinação para a esquerda.

O WS tb. está excelente, merecia um post principal.

Reparei nos dados Exif e surpreendem-me duas coisas. Uma é o 1/8 e f22 com esse sol(?!). Não me admira que as sombras estejam tão bem, mas esperaria que as partes claras ficassem queimadas.

A outra é as "compensações" (Tone Comp.: More Contrast, Hue Adjustment: +3°, Saturation: Enhanced, Sharpening: High). Pensava que isso não tinha qualquer sentido quando se usava RAW, pois é suposto que sejam gravados os bits tal como são captados pelo sensor, sendo as compensações apenas instruções para serem automaticamente usadas pelo programa de conversão de RAW para TIF ou JPG.

I love this street. The low point of view, allows us to cherish every detail of the soil, as diluting goes to the bottom.

The strong lighting, establishes the presence of beautiful shades. Good balance in the frame.
