Photographer’s Note

The Superman, a stunt in which a rider strikes a flying pose is performed in a wide sports variety.
This one is in a skimboard, something that some years ago was only for a "wetsand" ride is now able to go "inside" the sea with remarkable results.
This was taken at Santa Cruz beach, 15km West from Torres Vedras.

This is a wonderful action shot, Daniel. Not only that I
like his high jump but also the positioning of waves (both
these two crushing ones in the very FG, and the rolling
one behind his body).
But, I thought Torres Vedras was inland, not on the coast?

hahaha, espectacular, Daniel. Que grande foto de acção e que grande timing no clicar do botão. O tipo parece que tem asas ou outro super poder qualquer que o faz voar tão alto. Excelente o efeito das ondas no 1º plano. Parabéns por esta captura tão cheia de dinamismo.
