Cuckoos Spa #2 Photo

Photographer’s Note

In the suburbs of Torres Vedras, at 2 km of distance along the national road nº9 is located the Cuckoos Spa.
The use of the waters and muds started in 1746, however the construction of the thermal complex is only from 1893.
Memory of a time where the Spa´s are affirmed a little for all the Europe, the Spas of the Cuckoos are representative of the romantic scene of the ends of XIX Century.
The environment is dominated by the light game that insinuates between columns, balconies and railings, reflecting itself in the lake of the garden, between palms and other big trees.
Alot of years passed since the desactivation of the spa, but now they are painting the main building and i hope all of them get the maintenance they deserve.
I thinks that its not as sharp as it could and can´t figure if i chose a too much big aperture, or i just trembled... what do you think?

Olá Daniel. Embora com pintura a meio, dá para ver a beleza que este edificio das termas dos Cucos, teve nos seus tempos aureos. Passei aqui muitas horas nos meus tempos de estudante. Nessa altura havia um magnifico e bem cuidado jardim, frequentado especialmente por jovens torrenses, que chegavam aqui a pé pelo caminho do rio.
A foto está uma beleza, aproveitáste bem as côres de Outono.

muito bonita essa contrução e a forma como você a fotografou, principalmente por essas árvores amarelas no 1o. plano. Boas cores na foto também.

Hello Daniel,
Very nice view, I like the autumn colors of these trees nearby the nice colorful house. Also I like the sunlight and shades here, which make the picture very attractive. Good shot, Bravo!
