Photographer’s Note

I was working in Sta. Cruz for a hour or so, some rain pourred and the sky was heavy. After the job was done i choose to pass at the shoreline just for a peek.
The rain stopped and the sky turned burning hot, i shot this one and a couple more photos, this one was shot at iso 400, due to not paying attention being in a rush :)
Im not sure about the compo with the central horizon line, tell me what you think of it.

Bon dia Daniel, tenebrosa pero mágica puesta de sol de tonalidades bien curiosas. Los colores grisáceos de las nubes y el mar contrastan con los dorados-naranjas del cielo, es espectacular.
Me gusta la elección del formato vertical, puesto que da más dureza a la imagen. El movimiento de las olas del mar da un dinamismo fantástico a la escena.

Olá Daniel, absolutamente deslumbrante aquele céu a arder. Parece que é mais fumo do que fogo, mas os laranjas é que brilham e fazem o sucesso da fotografia. Se eu tivesse lá escolheria mais céu, mas não sei como estava o resto. A verdade é que gosto como está e o Luís Afonso costuma defender a linha do horizonte a meio nas praias dele...Muito bonita.

Bom dia Daniel,
Neste fim de semana para os lados de Sesimbra/Meco esforcei-me para ter sorte numa foto deste tipo mas a envolvente atmosférica não ajudou nada.
Mas esta está muito agradável tem "aquela cor" e as nuvens que ajudam bastante estas composições. Para mim a linha de horizonte ficou muito bonita.

Ola Daniel!
A composição, a meu ver, ficou bastante boa. Conseguiste delinear uma separação entre os dois elementos, a água e o céu através de uma forma natural e sem grande esforço.
As cores estão vivas e bem conseguidas.
Só é pena eu não apreciar este tipo de imagens/fotografias.

Hi Daniel,

many great captures to choose from in yout gallery. I was drawn by this one. It is not just another sunset, it is magnificent. What I specially like it interrupted reflection on the sea surface due to waves. Another quality is the vertical position which leads the look from dark coast with dramaticly spumed waves and to the sky of almost the same colour but with magnificent light accents and vivid density of clouds. Position of the horizon is excellent just were it is. Due to this it was possible to show us this display of natures beauty within one shot. Excellent capture!
