Same place same troubles...
Well for about 1 month ago i tried to take a similar photo of this tree and well and the polarizer filter just dismantled in pieces. I was trying to adjust the polarizer direction with the cokin p filter holder attached to it and going in the opositte direction when the polarizer brooked (i thought...), a small kind of oiled copper spring came from the inside and just oiled up my hands and filters... After a while i managed to insert the spring to its place but taking the grease from the filters was really dificult...
Yesterday i remembered the place because it was almost sunset and was really near where i standed, i managed to take 2 shots for trial and after placing the tripod and when preparing for better photo conditions, the filter colapsed again...
I don´t think i am going there again for photos in the next times (for my equipment health...) so i posted one of the trial shots.

Hello Daniel,

Splendid contrast between dark sky and yellow earth with help of filters. You excellently captured a great scene in well balanced with tree that full with naked branches. A great works, congratulations.

A nice contrast here with the yellow in the ground, and the dark clouds in the sky. It sets up a nice ominous mood.

Composição, simples ,mas muito forte visualmente. Provocada pelas formações nublosas.Parece que algo de estranho vai acontecer nesse lugar.Boa cor e luz, já se nota a primavera a romper nesses campos.

L'usage du filtre gris donne un belle effet dramatique au ciel,et augmente le contraste entre les teintes du paysage.

I'v said it before , but i really like your melancholia in you images far awy from a sunny blistering portugal on a tourist folder a more variated and softer impression of a beautiful country (I was ther oin November and going back in a month time)
