Photographer’s Note

Azedas is the name for i know this plant that provides a lovely yellow flower and florish all around the landscape.
Azedas is Portuguese for Sour because of the taste of the plant stem when bitten, when i was a kid really enjoyed to suck the sour/acid juice of this flowers.
Today when i took this picture was really really windy and the flowers just keep balancing in all directions.
This photo was taken in Catefica near Torres Vedras, in the South entrace/exit of the A8 Highway.

curioso o nome dessa planta, será que é por causa de algum fruto azedo que ela dá? As cores de sua foto ficaram ótimas, bem saturadas e gostei da inclusão dessa construção abandonada também.

This is a great study in color and texture. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. Your composition is fine placing the building to one side and showing all the yellow flowers on the other. The deep blue sky forms a nice backdrop for the shot.
