Alter do Chão (see images) is another small town in Alentejo, about 20km from Benavila. Many places were celebrating this special day (the anniversary of the revolution that ended a long dictactorship in Portugal) and in this town, we found a big fair. Families needed the help of everyone, including children, since the school was closed. Of course that this kid must be thinking of playing and wishing that this boring task that his parents asked him to do, ends quickly.
The little girl in the background is trying to rush her mother away from these boring garlics... ;-)

Bom trabalho, Cumprimentos,
Daniel

Poor child, he looks so bored.
The pink tones in the garlic basket are stealing the image, and Pierre Cardin in this marketplace adds wonderful humor to the photo. Perfect timing and great luck for this timing. Congrats,
Deniz

Hello Ricard,
Good daily life capture. I like the yawning expression on the boy's face and the contrast between the pink garlic and the Pierre Cardin bag. The little girl obviously takes after her mother ;-)

Hi Ricardo,
I find the scene quite funny ... first of all the boy getting bored and the other is that the woman is using a Pierre Cardin bag to shop at the local market. Well captured ... good overall color and contrast. Well done! tfs

One of those garlic bulbs would fit right into his mouth! What would good food be like without it though? Great shot Ricardo. Was the yawn luck or good timing? You composed it well with the bright red of the boy in one of the dynamic spots.

Funny scene and very good title !!!
Good street shot...maybe pitty for croped head in the background, but is normal in the most of street shot...we can't always get what we want ;).
Best regards. Grazyna.

Hola Ricardo.

I can understand this poor boy. In this same moment I am dozing off... and I see the boy and I do the same.

Good daily life shot. Very quotidiane and well captured.
He doesn't mind of you and that's good. Then it's much more natural.

Regards.

Fine composition of street life sutuation. Interesting note, too.
PS. I love garlic!
Regards.

Hello Ricardo,
Interesting street shot with many fun details!
This is everyday life documented very well, where we can witness many different activities going on...
Situation is well framed!
Greetings,
Pablo -

good study of dynamism...and perfect composition here - diagonal match of the violet of gralic, girl's shoes and a little handbag is something that nicely "leads" my eyes in this image,
j.

Bom-dia Ricardo,
pleasant color for these garlic.. Garlic is good for health !
I like the dynamic framing and angle there, and the situation is a funny one, what a hard job it is..
Very good colors and the price is not too high.

Hi Ricardo,
good reportage, interesting scene well composed. I like the natural colours also. Well done.
Gr., Aleksander

Olá Ricardo,
yep, great yawning. Lovely moment from daily life. I think Grazyna (ninaL) is right about the cropping, the question is now, why not cropping a bit more. I think the boy, the garlic and the child complete, the rest cropped out, that's it.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Nivaldo

hi..
beautiful timing..color and composition r good..but why did u crop the lady"s head?garlic r looking red?..best wishes..subir

Hello Ricardo,

Thomas

Olá Ricardo,
Bem apanhado, sim senhor.

Hi Ricardo.

A great moment this one you caught with the boy hehehehehehehehe.

Well done!

Rgs, OScar

I like this - the boredom of the boy and the steadfast ignoring of the garlic by the girl and her mother are well captured. You reacted well to capture this fleeting scene.
Only that disembodied leg disturbs slightly, but there wasn't much you could do about it.
That guy in the background clearly finds the whole thing very amusing!
Good stuff Ricardo.

Cheers,
Ben

Bravo!
Um abraço, José.

Olà Ricardo
No one is paying attention to the boy so he is bored, while the little girl passing in front of him pulling her mother... her shoes/bag matching well with the pink garlic. The stands in BG give a sense of depth to your image.
Cheers
Marilyn

Gostei!
Fica bem.
Paulo

Ola Ricardo
A very interesting street shot...my eyes go straight to the yawn. The Pierre Cardin lady & her kid seem to be in a hurry to get away from the garlics..wished you had not cut off here head...but then in such hurried shots getting everything right is difficult. The man on the right seems rather amused. Like this study of characters as you presented in this shot. Good work my friend

Ricardo,
As cores estão incríveis e o jovem menino, a bocejando, mostra a qualidade do instantâneo. Uma beleza de fotografia, amigo.
