Photographer’s Note

Marvao is a UNESCO World Heritage candidate.
The views from the castle are truly breathtaking looking out over wild rocky landscape towards Spain and the Serra da Estrela mountains in Portugal, which are often snow capped in winter. At dawn, in the evening or when the mists close in Marvao becomes almost eerie as it rises up to touch the sky.

Hello Giedrius,
Very good POV for a view over the complete village on top of the hill.
Beautiful houses and a nice street to enter the village (the one with the arches).
Too bad of the cars on the foreground but of course you can't help that.

Taken one month after my panorama and posted 3 weeks before... It seems that Marvao is closer to Litiania than it is from Lisboa. :D
You took good profit of the great POV, the compo is gorgeous. I also like very much the light and saturated colours.

I recognized Marvao from the vignette, it is possibly my favorite place in Portugal, good view of the village core and surroundings from the castle and I see the garden is still very well kept
