wonderful colours around the windows and the door
time stopped here...

Hello Phil
This facade, with its various shaped windows and elegant doorway, is interesting to look at, as is the old blue cart. I think, however that it is the orange colour of the lichen growing on the stone mullions which really gives this image its impact - that and the intense light.
Beautiful!
Best wishes Maggie

Hello Phil,

Beautiful my friend. The composition, the POV and the colours are just and outright beautiful. Interesting subject and a dramatic use of wide angle that works a treat.

Best regards
Filipe

Hi Phil,
beautiful image with good sharpness and nice colours, the blue cart makes the picture still more beautiful,
well captured and composed,
Greetings,
Dimitris.

Hello Phil,

Some powerful colours here, and strong contrasts produced by the low sunlight.

It took me a little time to realise it, but some distortion has crept into the image, causing the wheels of the cart to become oval.

Was this taken with a very wide angle lens?

All the strong elements in the composition - the cart, windows, the door and the edges of the roof tiles, are close to the edges of the picture.

As a result there is rather a lot of blank wall in the centre.

Somehow, I don't find the composition entirely satisfactory, but that's just my take on it!

I think the TL picture is much better.

Regards,

Peter.
