Very clever composition Jose. Even though the rocks are the main feature of the image you have used then creatively to frame the trees. Well done

Encontráste uma "janela" excelente para fotografar esses magnifícos sobreiros.
Quanto à foto, penso que podias ter evitado o canto superior esquerdo que me parece um pouco sobre-exposto.

Hello Jose

That rock looks huge to the right hand side. Very good close up, and the trees gives the capture just a bit more colour to an otherwise subtle image. Good capture, and sharpness.

Olá José,
just a very good POV you found to have the view through the stones to the trees and this big one on top. The mixture of textures and small quarter of the sky is very pleasant. A good idea to present these two landmarks of this region. I also like the good workshop.

De repente pensei que fosse na Beira Alta.
Está espectacular, muito boa para transmitir a ideia.
Gosto também muito do WS; não sei qual prefiro; talvez o WS, pois esta principal "aperta" muito o fundo, sem mostrar a totalidade duma das rochas. Mas gosto das duas fotos.

Jose,
what a perfect balance between these two so different elements and yet part of the same landscape. Placing the oak tree in the "V" of the stones was a great compositional idea. The other detail that is quite good is the cropping of the big boulder in the right portion. That provides an even bigger idea of its size.

Un encuadre estupendo con esas grandes rocas en primer plano, un paisaje muy característico de la zona. Muy buena profundidad, detalles y colores.
Me gusta mucho también el WS con el encuadre, se podría decir, invertido.

Olá José, I didn't know that this region is famous with its granite stones. It seems that, landscape and topography of the upper Alentejo is a little different than the South Alentejo. In the photo, you have combined very well the nature and the geologic formation of Marvao. Best regards, Tolga

belle photo de ces rochers de granit, ces arbres que l' on voit dans le creux des rochers donnent un bel effet a votre prise.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté, attire bien le regard.

Una foto rara pero muy ilustrativa, las gigantes rocas con los arboles al fondo estan muy bien captados, tus ultimas dos fotos tomadas en sitios muy diferentes presentan casi el mismo cielo gris.

Not sure I have seen granite boulders around my place but they look solid. I like the way you framed the oak trees between the boulders. The colours and the details make this image very interesting. Nice work José.

Bom dia José, esta é artística. Dá para sentir bem o peso deste granito - se aquela pedra rola, esmaga-nos sem dó nem piedade :) Gostava de ver mais daquelas oliveiras, ou pelo menos, ver aquela 1º oliveira um pouco mais para a esquerda. Gosto das texturas. Está engraçada, mas se calhar gosto mais do WS, numa abordagem mais convencional - sempre gostei de ver o namoro entre oliveiras e pedragulhos de granito, muito típico desta zona, de facto.
