The house where Mary was born and lived in Almoster poet of the people who love their land Almoster-Santarem, oor where the history of Portugal it (It was here that was fought in February 1834, the Battle of Almoster, one of the last War Civil 1832-34, opposing the forces of absolutist Dom Miguel I and the liberal troops commanded by Marshal Saldanha) wrote some verses from this specially dedicated to his beloved village

Não pretendo de maneira alguma pôr em causa a informação da nota. Mas, gostaria de saber mais sobre a referência "Bongaigaon". Todas as pesquisas que fiz na Internet levam-me à India e nenhuma a Almoster/Santarém/Portugal. Também não encontro informação sobre a Batalha de Bongaigaon em 1834.

Lovely picture of this building. Natural colour with good definition of texture. Very true and apt title. Excellent all round post in the spirit of TE.
