Photographer’s Note

This is my second upload from Tomar.
It presents the Convent of Christ (Portuguese: Convento de Cristo).
The tiny square in the foreground is surrounded by beautiful Renaissance Cloister of John III (16th century). On the very top you can see the Romanesque Round Church (12th century), which was later extended into the Manueline nave to the left (15th century).

The Convent of the Order of Christ was originally a Templar stronghold built in the 12th century. After the Order of the Knights Templar was dissolved in the 14th century, the Portuguese branch of the order was turned into the Knights of the Order of Christ, which supported Portugal's maritime discoveries of the 15th century.

Ostry, czytelny obrazek. Szkoda, ¿e nie by³o gdzie siê cofn±-lekkie uciêcie. Piêkna dynamika ¶wiate³.

The blue sky in this shot is just amazing. I like how you've captured this courttyard in a very symmetrical fashion. The cool grey and the vivid blue sky make for a nice contrast.

Czytalam o Tomar. Podobno ten klasztor templariuszy wyjatkowej urody. Pisze "podobno", a przeciez widze, ze "na pewno". Fajowskie ujecie.

ale piekna architektura po prostu to sie musi podobac! Swietna kolorki, kontrast i swiatelko jednym slowem fotka znakomicie dopieszczona. Podoba sie.

Czesc Mariusz,
Sam wiem, ze w takich miejscach nie jest latwo podjac decyzje, co "upitolic" a co zostawic. Dlatego musimy sie wziac za...panoramy. Samemu sie troszke nie chce, ale jak jeden drugiego zmotywuje....
Bardzo ciekawa architektura z mnostwem drobnych detali. Na swiatlo chyba nic nie powiesz, bo to nie sa zdjecia z IR ;) Osobiscie chyba wybralbym pion i wrzucil to jako dwa rozne zdjecia, bo miejsce naprawde z potencjalem. Ale taka wersja tez jest ciekawa- troszke przypomina mi odbicie z jakiegos lustra. Wydaje mi sie, ze to dzieki dystorsji. Podoba mi sie, wiec dzieki takim zdjeciom moge kontynuowac wirtualne zwiedzanie tego pieknego kraju na nowo.

tutaj tez pieknie. Perelka architektury w pelnym sloncu. Dobry POV i kadrowanie. Sporo tu zmiesciles dzieki temu szerokokatnemu obiektywowi. Dobry polaryzator wzmocnil blekit nieba. Podoba mi sie.

Witaj Mariusz, Fajna gra słów w tytule :)). Fantastyczna jest architektura tego klasztoru, wspaniałe manuelińskie zdobienia. Trudno zdecydować, co lepsze - czy w perspektywie jak tu, widać dziedziniec i kruzganki, z tylu wyziera Charola, czy moze pokazac jakies detale tej bogatej dekoracji. Mnie podobały sie motywy koralowców. Znakomite kolory.

Hi Mariusz,
a nice and panoramic shot of this tiny square with the impressive Convento de Cristo.I like the brilliant light of the scene the vivid colours as the sharpness too.The only disadvantage from the use of the wide lens id the distortion of the upper side parts of the constructions.
