Photographer’s Note

Tomar, also known in English as Thomar, is a city of some 20,000 and also a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 351.0 km² and a total population of 43,007 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 16 parishes, and is located in the district of Santarém.

The Nabão river is a river in Portugal. It rises in Ansião and passes through the city of Tomar before joining the river Zêzere — a course of about 66 km. It was known to the Romans as Nabanus. Before entering the territory of Tomar it has his biggest source in a place called Agroal.
The river is associated with the legend of Santa Iria (Saint Irene).

Bom dia Paulo!
Gostei bastante da fotografia, principalmente pelo ponto de vista escolhido e pela composição eficiente e muito atraente! Exposição e cores estão ótimas também, porém sinto um pouco a falta de uma maior nitidez (gosto pessoal)!
Parece ser um lugar bastante agradável e bonito!

This is a nicely composed shot using the bridge to lead the eye into the shot. The repeating pattern formed by the flower boxes gives the shot a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness and DOF. The tree on the left provides nice framing for the town.

Hello Paulo.
I like this delightful photo, it's so well composed to achieve a great perspective effect, which is enhanced by the flower boxes in a row. You placed yourself carefully so that the lamp would not stand in front of the tower. The light and shadow are lovely, and the colours bright but not too saturated. Your photo makes this town look very inviting in the April sunshine - it would be nice to stroll across the bridge and explore it.

Mais uma excelente composição e soberbo trabalho no processamento da imagem que resultou neste bonito postal de Tomar.

É realmente uma cidade muito bonita e agradável na primavera. Trabalhei durante pouco mais de um ano perto de Tomar e gostei, só não consegui suportar o calor infernal do verão!
Gostei muito da foto, bom trabalho!
