Hi Jerzy, nice! It immediately brought a smile on my face. It's so catching to see other people laugh and smile, and even on a photo it seems to work.
Nicely framed with a look down the road, and the expression on bothe the men's face, is lovely and warm.
Well seen
Una magnifica toma, las luces son muy bellas y una nitided impresionante, el momento captado es interesante, buen trabajo.

Hello Jerzy
always friendly ... i totally agree you ... some years ago, my wife and i decided to go to Portugal, without tell it to her grandmother who lives in Portugal from may to october ... Before entering Spain, we call her "No, sorry, we can't come in Portugal, to busy ... maybe the next year ... " and at the end of journey we arrived at her home ... nobody !
The neighbours saw my wife (she cames the one time before) "Ah ... Maria Augusta is you're grandmother ... come into my house, we 'll search for her .." ten minutes later, almost all the peoples was looking for Maria !!!
Nice tribute to those lovely people ...
Regards, hugues

I'm really glad that you found such a warm atmosphere in Lisbon. As you know, I wouldn't say that at all. The interaction bettween this guy and the others is impressively well captured. I love the pose of the others and of course, the blurred typical street of Bairro Alto as a background. I think I was with you, but I don't remember this moment at all. Really impressive work, Jerzy!

Wonderfully lively capture, Jerzy. Your three main protagonists really POP out from the background, but enough clarity to situate the street.
Genuinely exciting photo today. Thrilling!
Cheers,
Francis

Jerzy, it's a nice scene and the focus was very well taken. I like too, the people and their hapiness.
Well done!

A marvellous candid street shot, either brilliantly composed or very well cropped. It has tremendous spontaneity and exudes humour and warmth. The eye is led from the foreground man to the others and then back. Great photo.

Hi Jerzy!
A nice portuguese daily life shot, showing the warmth and hospitality of Portuguese people!
Good compo and fine DOF having the subject in focus Is it taken outside a bar or restaurant(older man having a glass in the hand!)
Well done

Ooooh!! Beautiful street scene!! I like everything: the use of DOF, the characters so friendly, and... the diagonal line the create a strong structure. Bravo!!

I couldnt hold a gentle smile when I saw this photo. It is so full of good mood, so human. The composition is really the key here. It tells a story and thats the most important value of photography. That is to me, of course. I am not going to get long on my words, there isnt a simple thing I would have done better. This belongs in my favorites. Obrigado Jerzy.

Hi Jerzy
There is always a lot of life in your shots like here again, enjoyable, very short DOF, the people on the right already starts to get OOF to beome more suggestive, personally I think a bigger DOF was here possible too.
greetings from Henk

Ah, Jerzy, this one is not being given justice by the thumbnail. But once you open it, the surprise is all the greater! The moment is fantastic, the loveliness of the moment and of the people is beutifully and sweetly captured. Isn't it wonderful when, instead of hiding, you are even thanked for having taken a picture?
(I was also literally IMPLORED by some homeless in Budapest to photograph them! Now I need to send the result to their mother in the country... but that is something else...)
Great capture, Jerzy! Brings a big smile to my face,
sasa
Point taken about the people J - a big smile for that alone - but the photograph is an almost random 'tourist' shot to me - there is emotion yes and relationship across the image yes but, it doesn't really gell for me beyond knowing you and what this moment meant to you - another big smile for that...but it doesn't reach the heights you are capable of photographically - I've been thinking with some of these Lisbon images that you had really found your mark but not with this one my friend, not for me........needs more compositional rigour....
best wishes Kev
You know, I gotta disagree with KevRyan. This is definitely not a touristy shot. I would place it similar to the work of Alfred Eisenstaedt's "Famous Kiss" photo shot in Times Square, NY (http://www.life.com/Life/special/kiss01a.html)
You have captured a moment in time that could have changed in just a split second. At the very second you took this photo it tells me that you love the old world civility and camaraderie of the people of this town. Try capturing this image in bustling New York City where everyone is too busy thinking about other things. This picture reminds me of my time growing up in Hawaii. Everyone acknowledged each other with a friendly hello or Aloha. If nothing else, at least a smile. That was our warm Aloha spirit. I can see it here in your photograph. Excellent composition!

Witaj Jurku,
pozdrawiam,
Jurek

There not a better way to show people than to show people :) Polish are great when hospitibility comes in mind, as I witnessed myself, but I guess Portuguese are as high on the ladder of friendlyness. Great smile and hapiness this shot brings to me. Exceptional low DOF as usual really focuses on the people.
have a nice day, Aleks

Again...Cream of the crop.
Impossible to score, yet...It is there, in front of our very eyes.
Unless you paid them Jerzy, I don't know how to explain that scene.
How to compose without composing?
