This is a very beautifully composed postcard from Algarve region where I also visited 2 years ago.Very good POV with nice and colourful vegetation in FG.
Fine colours,light management and perspective together with nice cloudy sky in BG.

A splendid high pov overlooking the precipitous coastline with wonderful repetition of the purple fg flowers. The spiky agave plants conjure up the similar place name of Algarve. Tfs et hbon weekend!

Bonjour Denis,

Une carte postale, peut-être, mais c'est bien joli ! La composition est très bonne avec les fleurs et la végétation au premier plan. La lumière est belle et contraste bien avec les nuages.

what a fantastic view from this cliff top.
the low cloud coverage only makes it that much better of a photo, making the scene have a great visual impact.

Hello Denis,
a picture postcard that has all the elements combining to produce a fine photograph,from the Fg flowers around the bay to the white houses it is a delight.
The sky is most interesting with the threatening dark clouds.

it's indeed a beautiful photo and a beautiful view.

You divided it perfectly in 3 distinctive layers, one with the plants and grass, one with the town and sea and the top one with this clouded sky.

I like those warm tones the photo is showing giving it a warm atmosphere not a summer one but something we usually find in spring or end of winter time.

Nous nous demandions où vous étiez.
Une vue classique? La vue du village sur la falaise est bien connue. Néanmoins, cette image nous montre quelque chose de plus. La situation du village est évidemment toujours spectaculaire. Le premier plan avec les cactus et les nombreuses fleurs violettes et jaunes et vraiment magnifique. La lumière qui éclaire le premier plan et aussi la mer, les falaises et le village, est en contraste énorme avec ce ciel nuageux sombre.
Votre point de vue choisi, la composition de la photo, la luminosité et la netteté sont superbes!
Et comme on sait, le printemps nous offre les images les plus colorées. Cela est illustré ici.

this is a lovely composition. your framing is excellent with the coloured flowers in the foreground leading to the beautifully coloured sea and then the cliffs with the superbly characterisic houses perched by the cliff edges. the sky is amazing with the wonderful layers of cloud creating a very dramatic sky. beautiful colours and perfect sharpness, as always.

Tes "petites cartes postales classiques" auraient plutôt leur place dans Géo!Somptueuse photo de ce magnifique village. Cadrage parfait, lumière sublime qui donne des couleurs splendides à l'ensemble et, en plus, on t'a offert un ciel d'enfer. Superbe!

spectacular the view of Algarve that is found at the edge of the rock with the clarity and the sharpness to brings out the details of the houses as the beauty of the place.I like the colourful flowers on the foreground, as the combinations of the colours of the sea and the sky making the image unique.

Intruiging cloud formation and the headland is very pronounced with superb foreground. The green water contrasts so well with the brown shades and white cluster of houses. Lovely rich colours and a good composition of such a pretty seascape. Very fine photo works

wow this is a spectacular view of Algarve. I am looking forward to see more :)
The composition is brilliant with the colorful flowers in the foreground the the agaves adding so much exotic character here. Fantastic warm colors too. The clouds add so much interest here, I had a cloudless sky which was great for sunbathing but less photogenic.
