Photographer’s Note
Like yesterday, here's one more photo from Cabo Raso, Cascais, Portugal. It's incredible the amount of approaches this cape allows. In this particular photo I liked the fact that the clouds seem to emanate from the the rock and the subtle way we can see through the water on the foreground (I only semi polarized to get this effect).
The Portuguese coast is very inspiring because, despite the large number of tourists, it still has plenty of astonishing secret spots, although most of them are fairly inaccessible.
As always, apart from basic and unavoidable editing in Photoshop (slight contrast, saturation and unsharp mask), the shot is unmanipulated as much of the work is done on location using a ND grad filter to balance the light and a polarizer to enhance colour and contrast.
I hope you enjoy!
Info:
shutter speed: 90 secs
aperture: f/14
focal distance: 11mm
ISO 200
PS: I apologise for the 500px larger side and watermark in the frame, but some unauthorized use has happened before in other websites (including mine)

Hello Joel,
What a capture with the colors and light in this image. The long exposure has worked well with the polorizer and Nd. Excellent exposure control and balance within the scene. The bank on the right foreground is perfect...

Hi Joel,
I can see the colours and theme are stunning, but what a pity we have no access to details because of the small format.
Unbelievable result with well saturated colours - how much of the saturation do you apply?
:-(
Thanx,
Robi
PS. Yes, I do understand... but - decided to give just half the smiley as the size really matters to me in this kind of shots.
