Photographer's Note

Today I'm posting another photo of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in Serpa (Alentejo).

This is the information I've already written in the first post:
It dates from the beginning of the 16th century and it's Mudéjar style. It's a very simple place, without much decoration, as you can see, a real country chapel. I guess that's what makes it so special, at least to me.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patron saint of Serpa and every year, during Easter, there's a pilgrimage and big celebrations, with processions. It seems that this strong devotion has even started much time before the construction of the chapel.
It's situated on the top of a hill, in the countryside, not far from Serpa.
