I photographed this sufficiently old kiosk in the square of the restauradores, the name of the photo is the name of this old Imperial pension it must be of the time of Marques de Pombal
Square of the Restoratives considered as starting point of the expansion of the city for north, the Square of the Restoratives presents an extreme simplicity of lines, with sober and elegant constructions and a central obelisco. In this obelisco, commemorative of the Revolution of 1640 we can detach two bronze figures, placed in the pedestal, one of the authorship of Alberto Nunes - the "Génio of Independence" and to another one of the authorship of Simões de Almeida - the "Victory". The building that more stand out is the Palace Estuary, with its changeable architectural styles of inside and outside. Contiguous to the palace, the old Éden cinema, (today transformed into hotel) only presents the façade with its high relives and the stairs of the forecourt that gave access to the stalls and the first floor of project initial of White Cassiano.

Hola Goncalo.
La verdad es que ese kiosco parece muy antiguo, me recuerda a una pagoda china. Me encantan este tipo de plazas con mucha historia. Creo que he estado allí hace muchos muchos años, cuando todavía no se había despertado mi interés por la fotografía. Me gustaría mucho volver allí con mi cámara.
La foto te ha quedado preciosa, la verdad que el trabajo en blanco y negro tiene algo especial. Un saludo.

Gosto da conversão e da composição.Os detalhes são bem interessantes e o quiosque ficou muito bonito. Parece uma foto bem antiga!

Conheço perfeitamente esse quiosque assim como esse canto da Praça dos Restauradores. Devo admitir que sempre que passo por lá, penso que o quiosque merecia uma foto mas, nunca tive a oportunidade de o fazer. Talvez o consiga desta vez, em Setembro.
Quanto à foto em si, parece-me demasiado cinzenta e com áreas sobre-expostas. O PDV é bom mas, o facto de estar tudo fechado, tirou-lhe a vida que o canto tem normalmente. De qualquer modo, é uma imagem muito interessante e representativa da bonita baixa lisboeta.

Olá Gonçalo,
O título (e a própria pensão) condiz com o aspecto antigo que o preto-e-branco dá a esta imagem.
Ficou talvez um pouco claro demais, mas, por outro lado, isso dá uma curiosa impressão que parece um desenho a lápis de carvão.
