This is one of the pillars or columns of the Mosterios dos Geronimos. For me this columns looks like a forest of tree holding this amazing chapel and the roof looks like the spider webs, is like to be in a fairy tale and the ligth from the windows give it the magic.
I desatured latter I balance the colors to give the Sephia and add the name and frame. I tryt o balance the ligth because the window is so clear and this was the best I can do it with out sacrifice the details of the column. Too, I leave the angle of this column in this posision, because for me this made an interesting effect.

Gosto bastante, Elias. Este ângulo de distorção é perfeito para evidenciar a verticalidade destes pilares elegantes e ao mesmo tempo mostrar os belos detalhes decorativos. A luz é bonita e o sepia ficou bem. Perdeu-se um pouco na definição da imagem devido às condições difíceis mas é compensado pela atmosfera conseguida. Aquela altifalante a aparecer ali do lado esquerdo é que não me parece nada bem. É corte certo, mesmo que sacrifique o cantinho da janela lá em cima. Bom post.

I have never seen such a decorated column inside a church, no wonder that the people seeing this tend to look in the direction of heaven !
