Olá António,
Uma bela imagem da nossa costa no inverno. Essas cores condizem com a época do ano e as pessoas passeando vestidas na praia também.
Gosto dessa espuma, contrastando com as rochas negras e as nuvens também negras. As rochas acinzentadas em primeiro plano também são interessantes.

Ouriceira > Ericeira. Nunca tinha visto a explicação, mas faz sentido. Contudo, o que aparece nos brasões infelizmente nem sempre é garantia de rigor. O caso mais conhecido é o de Chaves, em que, em tempos modernos, tiveram a lata de pôr umas chaves no brasão, quando a palavra tem a ver com umas termas romanas (Aquae Flaviae) dedicadas a Tito Flávio Vespasiano (por estranho que pareça, a evolução fonética de Flaviae deu Chaves; os habitantes ainda são chamados flavienses).

Hello Antonio,
A like the soft pastel colours, the long perspective and the froth of the waves. I can almost feel the chilly Atlantic winds in January and hear the screams of the seagulls.

Olá António,
Belíssima imagem, as ondas do mar com várias camadas espumosas estão um espetáculo, que você captou "à merveille". As rochas que recuam (ou avançam?) diante da força da água compõem um visual muito bonito, prato cheio para os olhos de um geólogo, imagino ;-) As pessoas caminhando na praia dão idéia das dimensões gigantescas destes rochedos, além de acrescentarem charme à imagem.
Quando vi o thumbnail, tive a impressão de estar tendo um "déjà-vu" - aí, lembrei-me de uma outra foto que vi recentemente, de composição semelhante, apesar de tão diferentes... veja aqui, por favor, se não dá esta impressão.

Hi Antonio,
What a magnificent seascape! I like the winter sea atmosphere and the long curves of those waves rolling in from the ocean. Interesting how they mirror the strip of beach to divide the frame neatly into four vertical sections. The small (but well-dressed!) figures on the beach convey a strong sense of scale and the climatic conditions.
Seeing shots like this makes me think I should organise a winter trip to Portugal!

Hi Antonio,
No need for a clear blue sky when you have a rough sea and great cloud formations on top of it. The sandy beach brings nice colourful contrast, but those people give real scaling and sense to the whole scenery. A great bad weather shot instead of the usual sunny beach views...i really like this.

The colors of the sea and of the sky are a god indicator of ta diffrent season, although it seems to have been a nice day. The proportions of the image (2/3 sea and 1/3 sky) are well chosen to put an emphasis on this long waves.

Praia! E cá estou eu. Eu raramente fotografo as praias assim vistas de cima mas tenho de pensar em fazer isto, pois dá umas imagens muito giras. Gostei do facto de teres apanhado as pessoas lá em baixo. Dão escala e vida à foto. A sucessão de ondas é aquilo que mais gosto e talvez a razão mais forte que me leve a querer experimentar este tipo de vistas. A foto está um pouco "sharpenada" demais. Tens de ser mais suave... :) Do resto gosto.

Olá António. Fartei-me de rir: Era para colocar uma foto ontem (vou ver se o farei hoje) que é a cara chapada desta, mais coisa menos coisa, mas feita ´recentemente, portanto, com biquinis. Assim terei que ir á procura de outra e colocar a minha daqui a uns tempos :). Parece-me um pouco clara mas se calhar, é por ter a minha como comparação que é mais escura. Granda vistaça, António. Aqui nos mostras o quanto é bela a costa Portuguesa. Fizeste-me lembrar o passeio que dei por esta zona há mais de um ano (magoito).
Mar bravio, ar carregado de salinidade e dias que podem ser frescos mesmo no pico do verão. Espera-se que isto nunca fique "estragado" com construcções...Gosto do casal lá em baixo.

I never been to Portugal, but the coast seems to be very beautiful and dramatic.Your photo shows that it is possible to take great photos without a clear blue sky. The white frame helps the impression.

Une grande vue de cette plage aux falaises escarpées, avec cette mer dont les vagues s'étalent jusqu'à l'horizon pour venir mourir doucement sur la grève.

a inclinação da costa se afundando no mar é evidente aqui, nem mesmo as falésias conseguem disfarçar o sentido de inclinação do terreno. Gostei da praia e das pessoas caminhando ali, tão pequenas na paisagem.

Bela vista de inverno da "Ouriceira"! O tempo cinzento e ligeiramente nublado (muito normal para quase toda a nossa costa) até fica muito bem aqui, dá um ar nostálgico, que de alguma forma é acentuado pela presença das pessoas lá em baixo. Bela vista esta sobre as praias da Ericeira a atmosfera de inverno é excelente bem evidenciada quer pelas nuvens carregadas quer pelo movimento das ondas.
As casinhas no topo das arribas e as pessoas a passear pela praia dão bem a noção do tamanho das falesias e de toda a área em si.
Gosto do grão ligeiro que se pode ver no céu pois acentua a sensação de mau tempo.

Gosto de visitar a Ericeira não pelas práias devido ao mar ser mais traiçoeiro e frio,( apesar de nadar bem ). Passear na vila é agradável como comprar os bolos regionais, queijadas e ouriços. Algumas vezes visitei uma povoação chamada São Pedro da Cadeira. À noite fomos à padaria local comprar pão quente. ( Dizem que comê-lo quente não é bom para o estômago ). Por isso se deve dar algum tempo de arrefecimento. É o tempo de chegar a casa. O ar aqui é muito puro. Cumprimentos. Domingos

Hi Antonio. This just shows that even when the weather is not good, you can still produce a attractive coastal landscape if the composition is right and you use the waves to add an element of dynamism to the shot. There's a little bit of the sky blown out, but not enough to be of concern. Cheers . . .David
