Photographer’s Note
Actually the precise sunrise moment is in WS1. I coudn't decide which one I like more. This one was taken about 20min before sunrise.
And not exactely from my bedroom window but from my tent ;-)
Waking up with the birds singing, I found these colors as I got out of my tent, at Markádia campsite located at the dam of Odivelas. It's a perfect place to be in contact with nature and stay away from the crowds that fill up the beaches of Alentejo coastline. It's beautiful and very peaceful, there's excellent facilities and water sport activities. The campsite, located about 6km from the village of Odivelas that I showed in my previous post, is big (10hectares) and almost empty all year round and one can have their own private spot by the water.
The dam was built by the Odivelas river bed and it's working since 1972. The water is mainly used for irrigation.
WS1 - precise moment of sunrise.
WS2 - Closer composition.

Not a bad view at all from your window, pretty much like my view over the Manakau in Auckland at sunrise. Soft pastel like colours and deep blacks to thrown in to give the image some very good depth. Well informed note to accompany.

Hallo Ricardo!
You caught a wonderful atmosphere and gorgeous colours here. This silhouette of the tree with its diagonal is a beautiful addition to the diagonal of the bank here. A photo "to dream into" ...
Greetings from autumnal grey Germany!

Hello Ricardo,
On the picture in WS1 the reflections of the trees in the river are very nice.
On this picture the water has much more colour, almost like that very beautiful sky. On both pictures I like the diagonal line of the tree very much.
Anyway, you wake up on a real nice place !
Best regards, Paul

Hello Ricardo, apparently you've made a good choice to escape from the crowds of cities and sea-side resorts and in my opinion inner Alentejo (like Beja, Serpa, Evora) is the best destination for having a good rest.
The view from your window is really fantastic (Is it a pousada?). The tree looks like a "sobreiro", which makes an excellent upper frame for your beautiful photo.
Best regards, Tolga

Hello Ricardo.
A beautiful early morning moment, thoughtfully composed and presenting such gentle and subtle warm colour tones. The silhouette of the tree nicely matches the angle of the shadowed river bank in the bottom left corner. What a sight to find as you emerged from your tent! I love those wispy pink clouds, catching the first rays of the yet-to-rise sun from beyond the horizon. Well done.

Andrew

Hello Ricardo,
A lovely moment as the new day is emerging in this colourful way!
This is a fine composition too, where the silhouetted tree really makes the image and creates depth...
Good definition and fine details, seems like a great view to wake up to..!

Bonito trabajo.
Un abrazo,
Josep

Classical but effective as usual...
The colors and the pink sky look simply pure.
The shadows (the banks, the tree) are excellent for the contrast too.

Hi Ricardo, splendid view you had from the bedroom in your tent. The colours are fabulous. And good for you, no need to go anywhere, just still in bed you could admire this sunrise. It must be nice camping place. I traveled in Norway with a tent but finally I always chose bungalows(mainly to use my laptop:)).

Hi Ricardo,
Waking up with this view is something we all want ;-)
It's not only the light, but more the entire framing and the strong dark shadow lines what makes the composition. That big tree on the right creates a strong important part in the overal composition...very good..!!!

Hi Ricardo,
Privileged and appreciated moments photographers, then one should not hesitate to take its camera, which you did for our greater pleasure. Very beautiful orange colors on this landscape, it is very pleasant. I like much your complementary photograph where the sun just starts to show its first rays. Thank you Ricardo.
With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Very nice icture I love the three. Also I enojoy it reading your note and I would love to visit this place to peaceful and wonderful. Here in Tijuana the life is more stong and every day there is shootings and dead people like in the old west in California in this case the motive is not the gold is the dollar and the drugs, but this pictures make sme forget about all this probles and see how beautiful can be the life.
I Wish some day i cna do it something to change this and I can have the change to live in a place like this or visit this place amazing.
Take care and have a good weekend
P.S I make a workshop of the cuban Chimera, I hope you can look it and tell me your opinion

Hola Ricardo.
Abrazos.
