Photographer's Note

The Fagaras Mountains, named by Emmanuel de Martonne in 1907 „The Transylvanian Alps” are undoubtedly the most impressive mountains in Romania. They are in fact „the loftiest, the highest, the iciest, the most alpine, and less horizontal” as one of the greatest geologists, Marcian Bleahu, stated.

Hello Daniel,
A fine view over this hilly landscape with the lofty snow capped mountains seen in the distance under a pastel blue sky. The meandering road supplies a good lead-line drawing us into the wider scene. Agreeable lights and natural colours; very good sharpness.

Hello Daniel,
It's a very scenic landscape with the blue hills in the background and the white peaks further back. The low hills in the foreground are filled with nice green and yellow fields. It's a very nice photo with fine colours. I haven't been to this area, but generally Transylvania was the most beautiful part of Romania

Hi Daniel,

The length of the valley is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the Fagaras mountains. THe light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.
